E-commerce FinTech Juni raises $206m

Juni has concluded a $206 million Series B and venture debt funding round with backing from Revolut and Monzo investor TriplePoint Capital.

Founded in 2020, Juni describes itself as a 'financial companion for e-commerce'.

The $100 million accrued in the Series B funding round was led by Mubadala Capital while Juni secured an additional $106 million from TriplePoint Capital.

Juni said the funding will be used to fuel e-commerce businesses growth through the FinTech’s credit card, which is chiefly designed for media buying and focused on removing the limitations set by traditional lenders.

Samir El-Sabini, chief executive and co-founder of Juni, said: “We’re on a mission to give e-commerce businesses peace of mind by making financial management easy. I know first-hand the frustrations of running an e-commerce business and time wasted on spend management, the lack of visibility of cashflow and scaling ad campaigns.

“With this funding, we will help ecommerce businesses win by building the right insights, features and integrations while injecting capital into their marketing spend.”
