Honeylove integrates AI-powered returns and resale management platform

Lingerie brand Honeylove has rolled out an AI-powered returns and resale management platform.

The move comes as the retailer looks to reduce returns costs and improve the customer experience, while also combating fraud.

Implemented through a partnership with software firm Frate Returns, the AI platform offers features such as a branded customer portal, personalised exchanges, branded resale of eligible clothing items and integration with Shopify point of sale (POS) for in-store returns.

The platform also features AI image verification to assess product condition aimed at preventing fraud, with the feature helping detect discrepancies in item conditions before returns and resales processes are completed.

In a post published on LinkedIn, Bailey Newton, co-founder and managing director of Frate Returns, highlighted Honeylove's growth and its journey from an emerging start-up in the shapewear industry to a popular brand with millions of customers.

The AI specialist added that the move will help Honeylove tackle returns fraud, streamline exchanges, and ensure its customers enjoy a “smooth, hassle-free returns process "that matches the same level of care it puts into every garment.

Honeylove specialises in comfortable shapewear, bras, and intimates, but has expanded to include activewear and other everyday garments like pyjamas and clothing.

The founder of the intimate apparel brand is Betsie Larking, a former music artist who launched the company in 2018 after finding a lack of comfortable, functional, and stylish shapewear on the market. .
