Royal Mail has struck a partnership with TikTok Shop to become the platform’s primary delivery provider across the United Kingdom, a move intended to streamline shipping for sellers and expand access to nationwide parcel services.
Effective 9 October 2025, TikTok Shop vendors gain entry to Royal Mail’s portfolio of parcel collections and drop-off options spanning what the carrier describes as the UK’s largest network of parcel points, including lockers, Royal Mail Shop stores, Post Office branches, parcel postboxes and customer service points. Sellers will also have tracking, shop health protection and compensation coverage to support fulfilment and customer service.
TikTok Shop, which reports triple-digit growth in 2024 and more than 200,000 small businesses active on its UK marketplace, framed the tie-up as a way to simplify logistics for creators and retailers scaling online sales.
“Our goal is to provide British businesses with the tools they need to thrive. This partnership with Royal Mail combines our platform’s reach with a delivery network that is synonymous with trust and reliability. Together, we are empowering sellers of all sizes to reach customers across the UK more efficiently than ever before,” said Jan Wilk, head of TikTok Shop UK.
Royal Mail highlighted the breadth of its infrastructure and daily reach, noting it offers collection from every address in the country and nearly 24,000 parcel points nationwide. “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with TikTok Shop and to support the incredible ecosystem of entrepreneurs on the platform. By becoming the primary carrier in the UK, we are making it easier for sellers to connect with their customers through our extensive and trusted nationwide network. This is about delivering growth for British businesses and providing the brilliant service their customers expect,” said Saadi Al‑Soudani, chief commercial officer at Royal Mail.
For small enterprises and side hustles, lower friction in delivery can be decisive. Access to convenient drop-off locations, proof of posting via app, and compensation protections may help reduce the operational burden typical of marketplace selling. The companies say the collaboration is designed to create an accessible, easy-to-use system for businesses at every stage, from kitchen-table start-ups to high street retailers.
The partnership underscores how social commerce platforms are formalising logistics to match rising consumer expectations for speed and reliability. With TikTok Shop expanding its seller base and Royal Mail seeking to anchor its role in the ecommerce economy, the deal aligns incentives on both sides: growth for the platform’s merchant ecosystem, and parcel volumes through Royal Mail’s network.
The integration builds on earlier collaboration between the two companies. In late 2023, TikTok Shop partnered with Royal Mail to offer merchants access to Click & Drop, the postal operator’s primary shipping solution, enabling sellers to print labels, consolidate orders across channels, and dispatch via existing collections, Parcel Collect, parcel postboxes, customer service points or Post Office branches. Framed at the time as a way to streamline fulfilment and speed up deliveries, that groundwork set the stage for today’s deeper partnership and Royal Mail’s role as primary carrier for TikTok Shop in the UK.
