Ann Summers hooks up with Deliveroo for rapid delivery

Deliveroo has partnered with Ann Summers to bring a range of sexual wellness products to consumers on demand ahead of Valentines Day.

Around 15 of Ann Summers’ most popular products will be available via the rapid delivery service to customers in Brighton, Manchester and Vauxhall and Canning Town in London.

Delivery will be fulfilled via the company’s Deliveroo Hop sites, which are used for rapid grocery delivery.

Ann Summers said that Valentine's Day is one of the most important gifting occasions in the UK and that the sexual wellness market in the country is growing.

“This is a fantastic new partnership for Ann Summers and we’re proud to be teaming up with Deliveroo to offer customers access to our popular products in minutes,” said Maria Hollins, chief executive of Ann Summers. “Valentine's Day is one of the most exciting and important occasions for Ann Summers fans and we can’t wait to provide new and existing customers with another way to shop with us.”

The move comes after the delivery app launched “Deliveroo Shopping” in November 2023.

The company said that the new service enables consumers to shop from a wider range of retailers that sell everything from DIY and homeware to flowers and gifts.

Building materials firm Screwfix was the first retailer to partner with the firm under the new scheme, with Deliveroo saying that the addition of Ann Summers is the first step in offering customers a wider range of goods.
