Dr. Martens creates two new senior product executive roles

The British footwear brand Dr. Martens has announced the appointment of two industry veterans to newly-created senior product executive roles.

Isadora Versiani will take on the role of global product design director. Currently the global design director at Marc Jacobs, where she has worked since December 2024, Versiani has more than 17 years’ experience in the sector. She previously held senior design positions at Tory Burch, BCBG Max Azria, and Manolo Blahnik.

Nadia Svensson joins Dr. Martens as its new role of global merchandising and product director, following five years as a product director at Adidas overseeing outdoor and sportswear category growth across Greater China and APAC.

Svensson has previously overseen product at Kathmandu and Zalando, having worked in strategic product growth for more than 16 years.

Carla Murphy, chief brand officer at Dr. Martens, said: “Isadora and Nadia are exceptional additions to Dr. Martens, bringing together a rare combination of creative vision, product expertise and international market experience.

“They have both built their careers at some of the world’s most influential footwear, fashion and performance brands, and I’m excited about what they will bring to the brand.”

In May, Dr. Martens reported £55 million in adjusted profit before tax for its full year 2026, a year-on-year rise of 61 per cent. In its full financial statement, the firm committed to reinforce the positioning of its premium products and extend its offerings to include sandals, bags, and other accessories.
