Industry celebrates at 2026 Retail Systems Awards

The retail technology sector came together in London on 17 June to celebrate innovation, transformation and excellence at the 21st annual Retail Systems Awards, with retailers, technology providers and industry partners recognised across a wide range of categories.

The awards, organised by Retail Systems and hosted at the Mariott Grovesnor Square, honoured organisations and individuals driving tangible business outcomes through technology and digital innovation.

Among the evening’s standout winners was Eva Bacsi of Antavo AI Loyalty Cloud, who was named Retail Rising Star of the Year. Antavo also enjoyed further success, sharing the Mobile Innovation of the Year award with Flying Tiger Copenhagen and the Entertainment & Leisure Technology of the Year accolade with Canela Media.

Several organisations secured multiple wins. Tata Consultancy Services was recognised as the Most Disruptive Retail Technology provider and also collected awards for its OmniStore platform in the Point of Sale Technology category and alongside Primark in the Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Award. AS Watson and The Perfume Shop were another major success story, winning both Customer Experience Innovation of the Year and Omnichannel Solution of the Year.

Elsewhere, Red Technology UK claimed Online Innovation of the Year, while Itim Group and The Entertainer won Technology Project of the Year. QuantSpark took home the Data Analytics-Driven Retail Award, Constructor secured E-commerce Solution of the Year, and Patchworks was named E-commerce Technology Vendor of the Year.

Other notable winners included Quinyx and HMV for Retail Partnership of the Year, Morrisons for Customer Loyalty Programme of the Year, invent.ai for Artificial Intelligence Project of the Year, and Scurri for Delivery Solution of the Year.

The ceremony was hosted by acclaimed comedian, writer and broadcaster Lucy Porter. A familiar face on British television and radio, Porter is known for appearances on programmes including Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You and The News Quiz. Her sharp wit and engaging stage presence helped ensure an entertaining evening alongside the celebration of retail technology excellence.
