Kingfisher appoints new non-executive director

Kingfisher, the owner of home improvement retailer B&Q, has appointed Eve Henrikson to its board as a non-executive director.

She will take up the role on 1 September 2026.

Henrikson is currently senior vice president of trips at travel firm Booking.com, where she is responsible for developing its travel offering beyond accommodation. She oversees global teams across strategy, commercial, product and technology.

She previously served as regional general manager for Uber Eats, leading the company’s delivery business across Europe and the Middle East.

Henrikson has also held a number of senior roles at Tesco and is currently a non-executive director at Sonae, a Euronext-listed portfolio business.

“Eve brings significant expertise in managing consumer-facing digital businesses across the retail and technology sectors,” said Claudia Arney, chair of Kingfisher’s board. “Given the growing importance of e-commerce to our business, we are pleased to welcome someone of her experience to the board.

“We look forward to her contribution as we deliver on our strategic priorities.”
