Primark launches Spring home collection on Pinterest

Primark has partnered with Pinterest to launch its new spring home collection.

The new collection has launched in Primark shops, with products also available via Pinterest thanks to the retailer’s Click & Collect service.

The Click & Collect service is currently available in 130 Primark shops across the UK.

“The homeware collab of dreams! That’s right, for the first time ever, we’ve teamed up with Pinterest to launch a Pinterest-inspired Spring home collection, so our customers can make their dream space a reality whatever their budget,” Primark announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday.

With the initiative, the retailer said it is seeking to make it easier for consumers to design and transform their homes with affordable pieces and style inspiration.

Shaped by Pinterest search data, the collection includes Spring related products, from spring floral crockery to soft pink frill bedding.

The initiative is inspired by the platform’s search data and features products from Spring related items, with the three trends that have informed the collections being Cosy Cottage, Minamaluxe and Dainty Décor.

While on the app, shoppers can also use Pinterest’s Collages feature, a tool that allows customers to use cut-outs of products from the Primark range and put them together to create their ideal space.

In a survey of more than 2,000 customers, companies confirmed that economic difficulties and lack of inspiration are considered the main challenges faced during renovation.

Sinead McDonagh, head of design at Primark, said the move reinforces Primark’s commitment to making trend- led interiors affordable and effortless.

“Pinterest is where so many of us go for home inspiration, but sometimes turning those saved Pins into reality isn’t always easy, especially on a budget,” she added.

Heather Clark, head of retail at Pinterest UK shared her enthusiasm for the partnership.

“We’ve seen searches rise for pastel palettes, an understated luxury aesthetic and darling furnishings and with new ways to shop Primark’s trend-certified home range, it’s now even easier to bring this inspiration to life,” continued Clark.

Primark currently employs 80,000 colleagues across 17 countries in Europe and the US.
