Skims has opened the doors to its flagship store on Regent Street, its first standalone site in the UK.
Inside, customers can purchase Skims’s trademark shapewear, underwear, loungewear, and menswear signature collections, as well as seasonal launches.
NikeSKIMS products, made in collaboration with the sportswear brand, will also be available in-store.
The 12,000 sq. ft. space was designed by Rafael de Cárdenas, who also designed the flagship outlet for the South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster in Soho, the flagship store for the French crystal brand Baccarat in New York, and Nike’s New York fitness studio.
Skims took over the site once held by Ted Baker, as part of a decade-long contract signed with the Crown Estate.
Jens Grede, co-founder and chief executive of Skims, said: “Our flagship stores play an important role in how customers experience Skims beyond the product.”
“Opening on Regent Street is a significant milestone for the brand and reflects our continued investment in creating immersive retail destinations in the world’s leading shopping cities.”
In addition to the standalone store, the brand is also carried in London by End Clothing, Harrods, and Selfridges.
The brand was founded by Grede and Kim Kardashian in June 2019 and has since grown beyond its online-only beginning. Today, it is available at over 130 brick and mortar stores worldwide.
