The Perfume Shop rolls out holographic tech in stores

The Perfume shop has rolled out holographic technology at its stores.

The UK’s largest specialist fragrance retailer has partnered with HYPERVSN for the rollout, which includes shopping counter installations and larger window display installations in a 3D holographic format.

In some stores the company has implemented a chandelier installation designed to blend its signature design with futuristic imagery.

“These holographic installations not only capture attention but also create a meaningful and memorable shopping experience that drives shoppers to explore the store offerings," said Kiryl Chykeyuk, chief executive of HYPERVSN.

In July, The Perfume shop announced it was offering customers home delivery through a new partnership with Deliveroo.

The partnership enables customers to order from a range of perfumes and cosmetics, with deliveries arriving in as little as 25 minutes.

The service, which is launching over the next few months, will initially be available from 21 stores covering London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

The move comes as the fragrance sector continues on its upwards growth trajectory, with sales in December 2023 reaching more than £2 billion.
