Matalan expands range with 29 new third-party brands

Matalan has launched 29 new third-party brands across its core categories.

Brands added to Matalan’s womenswear offering include AX Paris and Urban Bliss while Matalan is bolstering its menswear selection with brands including French Connection and Tokyo Laundry.

To expand choice within its footwear range, Matalan has added Totes to offer customers a range of options for men, women and children.

Matalan is also adding new nursery lines with the launch of Hauck and Ickle Bubba.

Additionally, the retailer will offer homeware brands Asiatic Rugs and RU Comfy.

The announcement follows the launch of 17 new third-party brands in April in addition to the 10 Matalan launched in December 2023.

Matalan said it will continue to partner with more third-party brands to give customers an increased range to choose from.

“This is our third drop of new online brands since Christmas, which is testament to how well they have been received by Matalan shoppers who we know are on the hunt for more choice and newness when they visit us,” said Ali Jones, chief customer and omnichannel officer at Matalan. “With such a wide range of relevant and fashionable brands available alongside our core Matalan collections, we are a ‘one-stop-shop’ for customers, which is key to our strategy of building a modern, stronger Matalan”.
