The Children’s Place partners with Shein to expand digital presence

Omni-channel children’s fashion retailer The Children's Place has partnered with online retailer Shein as it seeks to strengthen its global digital presence.

As part of the partnership, The Children’s Place has integrated its product portfolio into Shein’s platform, as the retailer seeks to tap into Shein’s 4.5 million customers.

With The Children’s Place now available on Shein, parents will be able to shop for a range of children’s clothing, including back-to-school, holiday celebrations, weekend playdates, or family vacations.

The collaboration also offers trend-right product assortments and limited-time promotions.

Claudia Lima-Guinehut, brand president at The Children’s Place, said that the partnership will allow the brand to meet customers where they are on digital platforms, reflecting the company’s commitment to making the shopping experience effortless and exciting for today’s families.

“As a brand with deep roots in providing exceptional value and trend-forward children’s apparel, diversifying our omnichannel strategies is a top priority,” she explained.

The service is currently available in the US only, where the The Children’s Place currently has more than 500 stores.

The children’s brand said its products will soon be available on a global scale, with plans to add its wholesale marketplaces and distribution in 15 countries through five international franchise partners.
