Apple offers new ways to shop for iPhones and iPads

Apple is rolling out a range of new “tailored purchase experiences” online, by phone, or in store for its new iPhone 12 and iPad Air from tomorrow.

From a chat session with a specialist that starts online and finishes with contactless delivery, to visiting select Apple Store locations for a one-on-one session with a staff member, the tech giant has redesigned its customer journey.

With Shopping Sessions, customers can now book a one-on-one session with a specialist at an Apple Store for personalised help selecting a new product, or financing option. The same advice is available online, where customers can chat with a specialist anytime.

Pickup options include in-store, same-day delivery, or express storefront.

Contactless delivery is available for all products, with delivery drivers asking for verbal confirmation from a safe distance to replace the need for a physical signature.

Apple Trade In will also let iPhone or iPad owners get up to £620 or £410 credit toward the purchase of a new product.

The vast majority of Apple Store locations around the world are now open and operating in various service models to protect the health and well-being of customers and employees.
