UK home improvement retailer B&Q has expanded its range of fast fulfilment options, announcing the launch of TradePoint express, a same day delivery service for trade customers, and the expansion of its Deliveroo partnership to over 100 stores nationwide.
TradePoint Express, operated in partnership with on-demand courier platform Gophr, allows TradePoint Business Development Managers to arrange deliveries within as little as two hours for TradePoint members at either its standalone store in Barking or one of 123 participating B&Q stores.
The service is set to expand to more TradePoint stores later this year, the company added.
B&Q has also expanded its Deliveroo rapid delivery partnership following a successful trial, which began in 2024 and grew in February 2025. The service is now available in more than 100 stores across the country, allowing customers to access up to more than 9,000 home improvement products in as little as 35 minutes.
The expansion reflects increasing demand for fast and convenient access to home improvement essentials for both planned and last-minute projects, the company said.
Amélie Gallichan-Todd, supply and logistics director at B&Q, said: “We're continually evolving the ways customers can shop with B&Q, making it faster and more convenient to access the products they need.
“The launch of TradePoint Express and the expansion of Deliveroo to more than 100 stores are important steps in that journey, giving both trade and retail customers greater flexibility through a range of delivery options designed to suit different project needs. As our customer expectations continue to evolve, we’re focused on making it easier for them to get the right products, exactly when and where they need them.”
On Tuesday, B&Q’s owner, Kingfisher, announced the appointment of Sebastian Gundel as its new chief executive officer, effective February 2027.
