Costa Coffee selects TrueCommerce to lead EDI expansion

European coffee chain Costa Coffee has selected TrueCommerce to lead its global electronic data interchange (EDI) expansion.

TrueCommerce specialises in EDI solutions, providing access to a fully integrated, global supply chain network that aims to connect customers, suppliers, logistics partners to strengthen companies’ internal systems chain performance.

The partnership will see the software specialist focusing on implementing unified EDI integration with Costa’s existing ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and operations platforms, aiming to strengthen the retailer’s operational agility and support its expansion plans.

Costa Coffee, which has currently around 3,000 establishments spread across the continent, said the decision to partner with TrueCommerce highlights the commitment to optimising operations and enhancing their global supply chain capabilities.

The retailer added that given its expansive network, the firm has been looking for a solution “capable of adapting its rapid growth and evolving requirements”.
