Deliveroo forms exclusive partnership with Ryman

Deliveroo has signed an exclusive partnership with British stationary company Ryman, marking the first time a national stationer has joined the rapid delivery platform.

The partnership taps into what Deliveroo called a surge in consumer appetite for on-demand office and stationary supplies. Deliveroo saw a nearly 40 per cent increase in orders during 2025 compared to the year before.

The move onboards 185 Ryman stores, nearly the entire estate, as part of its focus on new product categories. It will allow customers to access over 4,000 items nationwide, with Ryman looking to build a stronger omnichannel and digital proposition through the agreement.

The stationary company saw a demand spike of over 30 per cent during exam season last year, which began earlier this month and runs until July.

Users will be able to order Ryman products both through the Deliveroo app’s Shopping section and Deliveroo Express, its white-label delivery solution that allows customers to order directly through the Ryman website or app.

“The addition of a household name like Ryman is a testament to the massive momentum behind Deliveroo Shopping,” said Suzy McClintock, vice president of new verticals at Deliveroo. “We aren’t just adding more choice; we are responding to a fundamental shift in consumer behaviour.

“With stationery orders up 40 per cent in the last year, this partnership ensures we are meeting that demand head-on, proving that Deliveroo is the essential partner for retailers looking to unlock digital growth and omnichannel scale.”

The partnership expands Deliveroo’s growing provision of non-food items through its Deliveroo Shopping offering, which launched in November 2023. Earlier in May, the company launched a feature called Bundles, which allows users to add products from up to three stores into one basket for no extra delivery fee. The company said at the time that this experience aims to simulate a trip down a local high street.
