Elemis introduces AI skin diagnostic tool

Luxury British beauty brand Elemis has partnered with Perfect Corp to launch a diagnostic skin care tool powered by AI.

The AI skin tool is available on mobile devices for users in the UK and the US and will be rolled out across other countries in the coming months.

The tool works by using data from customer questionnaires about their skin concerns and formula preferences. The results are used to create an in-depth skin analysis, with the customer then matched with a suitable line of products.

Customers can also access further information about products and recommendations for other skin concerns such as wrinkles and redness.

“It was important for Elemis to enable a truly personalised experience for our consumers,” said Stevie Journey, Senior Director of Omnichannel Digital Experience at Elemis. “We offer the perfect must-have regimen based on the skin analysis, but if a consumer has a particular concern, such as pores or redness, they can tap their concern to get a truly targeted regimen. The consumer is in control of the skincare regimen recommended to them.”
