H&M partners Flux for digital receipts

H&M has partnered with Flux for digital receipts.

The partnership marks Flux’s first foray into clothing and apparel, having signed up clients like KFC and Just Eat during 2019.

Customers will also be able to use their digital receipts to return items, either by scanning a barcode embedded in the receipt or by citing the receipt ID to the cashier.

The roll-out will be backed by partner banks Barclays, Starling and Monzo. Earlier this year, Barclays took a minority stake in Flux through an extension to the company’s $7.5 million Series A funding round.

Matty Cusden-Ross, chief executive and founder of Flux said: “2020 has been a year like no other, and we’re seeing more innovation in the retail sector than ever before.

“We’re super proud to be supporting H&M not only with their sustainability initiatives but also helping them add extra contact-free experiences at the till.”
