Primark and Greggs to launch second fashion collaboration

Primark and Greggs have announced a second fashion collaboration.

Dropping in Primark stores nationwide on 5 August, the 21-piece collection will include bodysuits, bumbags, and bucket hats.

The second collaboration between the fashion retailer and bakery follows the first Greggs x Primark fashion collection which was launched earlier this year.

The collection will feature new items including cycle shorts, bodysuits, basketball jerseys, varsity jackets and new footwear.

From 27 July in Brighton, the collection will go ‘on the road’ with a ‘SNACKFEST’ tour bus popup to gives fans early access to the new collection.

Jermaine Lapwood, head of innovation and future trends at Primark, said: “I believe the best partnerships in fashion are those that are blindingly obvious but never boring or predictable.

“In a world of collaborations, it is important that we stand out and be different. As part of this drop, for the first time in Primark history we are taking the collection on the road and fans will be able to get early access to our own ‘SNACKFEST’ tour bus which will pop up across the UK.”

Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
