Rituja Ravikiran Rao departs Deliveroo after three years

Rituja Ravikiran Rao has left Deliveroo, where she was senior enterprise project manager technical integration for over three years.

Joining Deliveroo in 2022, Ravikiran Rao has been responsible for executing and leading E2E integration activities for Deliveroo's international food and retail operations in various markets, including France, Italy, Spain, UAE, Hong Kong and Singapore, integrating with the world's major retailers via public APIs and custom integrations.

Ravikiran Rao also coordinated cross-functional projects by working closely with global retail partners and internal technology teams, specialised technology providers, account managers, product teams and business stakeholders, supporting the company's growth to over 5,000 API-integrated sites.

"Joining the grocery and retail tech teams at Deliveroo as the founding technical integrations manager, I have had some of the most life enriching experiences and have worked with some of the brightest minds in the industry,” she wrote on LinkedIn.

Prior to working at Deliveroo, Ravikiran Rao was a project manager at London-based training provider Sparta Global for three years, with duties including executing a digital transformation project and managing stakeholder and customer expectations across the product portfolio for clients including Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC and Barclays.

“At Deliveroo, I gained some ground-breaking B2B2C experience and integrated the world's largest Retail giants onto the platform across the UK, France, APAC and the Middle East,” she said in a LinkedIn post.

She went on to share the highlights of her time at Deliveroo, which included working in all international markets and in particular the role of Tech Proof of Concept (POC) for one of the fastest growing markets such as the UAE, working on the ground with the company’s partners in Dubai, where she was tasked with building technology solutions and growing scalable teams.

“Special callout to my time with Deliveroo Women in Tech Employee resource groups (ERG),” she continued. “As a co-lead, I am proud of my role in fostering this community led by purpose,” she said.
