Sephora boosts HR with data analytics

Sephora has chosen Qlik Sense, a data analytics platform, to help transform its HR management system.

The beauty retailer has experienced strong international growth over the past 10 years, which has forced the company to combine its global HR practices.

"Employees expect the same level of service and responsiveness from their company as they receive in their daily lives,” said Thomas Morabito, global VP HRIS at Sephora. “It was imperative to provide our managers with a solution that is easily accessible via mobile applications to provide them with information in real-time.”

Sephora has rolled out a global employer brand strategy. Among several initiatives rolled out to achieve this, the company wanted to use a new technology to manage its HR data and analysis.

The brand has deployed SAP's SuccessFactors as its global Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for all countries and employees. This will be boosted with a number of solutions, including Qlik to help manage local employee needs, jobs and recruitment requirements.
