eBay launches new automated campaigns functionality

eBay Ads UK has launched a new automated campaigns feature which it said allows its sellers to launch promoted listings campaigns.

eBay currently has 22 million active users in the UK, and 80 per cent of products sold on the platform are new according to statistics for the Department for International Trade.

The marketplace said the automated campaigns feature, which can be found in the marketing tab of the eBay seller hub, seeks to free up time for sellers by eliminating the manual work of creating promoted listings campaigns.

Using filters such as price, category, and store category, eBay said sellers are now able to use automated campaigns to set up rules to determine the listings they wish to promote and select their ad rate strategy.

“Our sellers have been telling us they would appreciate more automation and fewer steps,” said Harmony Murphy, general manager advertising UK at eBay. “As a result, we created our automated campaigns feature, the latest campaign creation flow designed to help sellers manage and optimise their promoted listings campaigns.”

“As always, the seller remains in control of their listings, yet with significantly more efficiency, enabling our retailers to deliver even greater success from the eBay marketplace.”
