Accessorize partners with Deliveroo in time for festive season

Deliveroo and Accessorize have partnered to offer customers on-demand delivery of more than 700 products in 25 minutes or less.

The partnership, which arrives in time for the festive season, will initially launch with eight Accessorize shops in London, with plans to expand to other UK locations in the coming months.

The partnership builds on Deliveroo’s ongoing diversification through its Deliveroo Shopping service, which has included collaborations with brands such as B&Q and The Perfume Shop, with the company most recently moving into the fashion market.

In November, Deliveroo partnered with fashion rental platform Hurr to offer on-demand designer dress delivery in central London, offering sustainable fashion access for party-goers this festive season.

The collaboration, which represents Deliveroo’s first venture into fashion delivery, enables users to rent luxury fashion items from more than 50 designer brands, including Self-Portrait, 16 Arlington, Nadine Merabi, and Rixo, with delivery possible in as little as 20 minutes.

Eric French, chief operating officer at Deliveroo said its new partnership with Accessorize “significantly enhances” the company’s gifting and fashion offering.

“Between office parties, last-minute gifting, and braving the winter weather, it’s not always easy to find time to shop,” said Nick Stowe, chief executive of Adena Brands. “That’s why we’re so excited about this partnership: it’s all about making life easier for our customers by bringing Accessorize’s selection of products.”
