Canada Goose has appointed Alfredo Cunanan Mendoza Tan as chief digital and information officer.
Mendoza joins the firm from Loblaw Companies Ltd, a Canadian food and retail group, where he was the senior vice-president and managing director of the retail media division.
He also worked at social media firm Meta, where he was one of the first 1000 employees and spent around eight years in a variety of roles.
Additionally, Mendoza worked as senior vice-president of strategy, data and digital products at Rogers Sports and Media and was the first chief digital officer and chief innovation officer at WestJet Airlines.
In his new role at Canada Goose, Mendoza will be responsible for the strategy, implementation and adoption of all consumer-facing digital platforms.
Additionally, he will lead the teams responsible for developing the company’s digital roadmap across digital sales channels.
Mendoza and his team will also be responsible for Canada Goose’s future data and AI strategy to enhance commercial and enterprise performance.
Mendoza takes on the role from Matt Blonder on 7 August.
