Boots to launch new online marketplace

Boots is launching a new online marketplace in the spring of 2023.

The health & beauty retailer’s marketplace will be built in collaboration with e-commerce platform Mirakl and focus primarily on health, beauty, baby, and wellness brands, which Boots said will “build on the strength of its existing business to offer unrivalled choice for consumers.”

The marketplace will give Boots’ customers single checkout functionality and the benefits of shopping with Boots including Advantage Card points, the company said.

The marketplace will also extend the range of products currently available at boots.com as Boots is looking to work with hundreds of new brands to bolster its current offerings.

New products will be seamlessly integrated with Boots’ existing range, it said.

The news follows Boots' recent announcement that its sales surged by 24 per cent in the third quarter of 2022.
