EE opens second experience store

Mobile phone network provider EE has opened a new experience store in Bluewater shopping centre which combines physical and digital experiences to showcase its latest technology.

The store has a number of experience zones and room sets where shoppers can trial connected technology products.

Customers can test out games consoles and see how new products, such as security systems, can work in their homes.

EE is also offering a fast two-hour repair service where customers can drop off their devices for repair regardless of what network they are on.

In June, EE opened its first experience store in Westfield White City, London.

“As part of our ambition to become the most personal, customer-focused brand in the UK, we have designed our Experience stores to offer our customers the chance to discover and interact with the technology that is right for them,” said Asif Aziz OBE, retail director at EE. “Our new Bluewater Experience store offers shoppers and the local community the chance to try out a range of connected technology, get advice from one of our expert EE Guides or simply have fun and set their fastest lap in the Gaming Zone.”

Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
