John Lewis partners with Randox Health to offer in-store health checkups

John Lewis has partnered with health diagnostics firm Randox Health as part of its ongoing efforts to offer personalised services in its stores.

The first instore clinic will open in High Wycombe in December and will be followed by further openings in John Lewis stores in Bluewater and Cheltenham.

John Lewis said the services are aimed at helping customers to understand more about their current and future health. Randox will provide detailed, full body health checks to identify early signs of health issues and customers will be able to get tested for vitamin deficiencies, hormone imbalances and other health concerns.

Randox currently has around 20 clinics across the UK and supplies diagnostics services to hospital laboratories and healthcare providers in around 145 countries.

“We pride ourselves on being there for our customers whenever they need us with products and services that are tailored for them,” said Naomi Simcock, executive director at John Lewis. “As trusted stores for local communities across the country, we can play an important role by making services like healthcare and wellness more convenient and accessible.

"In Randox we have an experienced and innovative partner to extend our range of existing in-store services, to help customers proactively manage their health and wellbeing.”

In October, Sharon White, the current chair of John Lewis, asked the board to begin the process of appointing a new successor as she heads towards the end of her third year in the role. White will stay on for the full five-year term, ending February 2025.
