Lincolnshire Co-op aims to become 'data-led' as it rolls out new analytics platform

Lincolnshire Co-op has signed a seven-year tech deal which it says will help it become a “data-led” organisation.

The co-operative, which currently has over 220 outlets across Lincolnshire, plans to roll out a new data and analytics platform from Xiatech to modernise its existing legacy systems.

The technology, which uses AI-driven analytics, aims to provide a single view of operational data for the retailer.

“Lincolnshire Co-op is on an exciting transformation journey as part of our investment in our Purpose Beyond Profit 2023 strategy that will have a lasting impact on the lives of our members,” said Andy Warman, head of strategy and transformation, Lincolnshire Co-op.

Lincolnshire Co-op is an independent co-operative society with 300,000 members and 2,900 local workers.

The company has a number of services including food stores, filling stations, post officers, travel branches, funeral homes, a florist, a crematorium and community libraries. It also has several pharmacies.

As well as its trading outlets, Lincolnshire Co-op owns properties, from flats and houses to commercial premises.
