Lush to open experiential flagship store in Glasgow

Lush has announced plans to open its biggest store in Scotland and first anchor location in Glasgow next month.

Located on Buchanan Street, the beauty retailer said the store will occupy four floors totalling around 20,000 square feet.

The store, opening on 8 December, will offer beauty services such as a shampoo bar, while a Lush spa will open in February next year.

Lush said the store will also house an independent vegan coffee shop and offer new lifestyle products such as clothing and soap dishes.

To celebrate the opening, Lush said the first 250 customers will also be gifted a welcome surprise bag of products.

“We are so excited to get ready to open our anchor store placing customer experience and shop floor experience at the heart of everything we do,” said Magz Macphee-David, Lush Glasgow City, store manager. “We have a talented group of staff in our store and across Scotland who are ready to take the next step in their career and serve our community who really deserve this new large space.”

Last month, Lush announced that it was returning to London’s Covent Garden after a ten-year absence. It previously operated a store in Covent Garden between 1998 and 2013, with the company planning to expand the space by 176 squares metres to incorporate its Lush spa concept in spring 2024.
