Mango to open 20 new UK stores including Oxford Street flagship

Mango will open 20 new stores this year, with six shops opening in central London.
The openings include a flagship store on London’s iconic Oxford Street.

The store, which will be around 1,100 metre squared, will stock products from the retailer’s Woman, Man and Kids lines.

The company will also open stores on Kensington High Street and Long Acre.

Additionally, Mango said it would expand its presence in Northern Ireland with a new shop in Belfast, with plans to also open more stores in Cardiff and Glasgow.

These openings are part of Mango's 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to boost sales through a major expansion of its store portfolio and other sales channels.

Mango currently has around 70 stores in the UK in addition to its digital presence through its own online channel and other marketplaces.

The new stores will incorporate the business’ Mediterranean-inspired store concept, which Mango said reflects the spirit and freshness of the brand.

Natural and sustainable materials will be used in the construction, it added.

"The UK is one of the priority markets for Mango's international growth,” said Daniel López, Mango’s director of expansion and franchising. “Our 2025 expansion plan follows the store openings success in 2024 to move forward in capillarity and getting even closer to our customers with stores in which we can offer them the Mango experience."

Last year, Mango said it would open 20 new stores in the UK with four of these in London. The company also opened its first store in Northern Ireland.
