Samsung launches immersive experience at Heathrow

Samsung has opened an immersive experience space at the InMotion flagship store at Heathrow’s T5 terminal.

The space, which has been developed in partnership with global retail tech agency Outform, aims to create a place for passengers to “step outside of the airport environment” and provide “mood-boosting experiences to prepare them for the journey ahead”.

It showcases a number of Samsung products, including its new Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Z series and Galaxy Watch 5 series, through a sensorial experience that aims to improve wellbeing by creating a calming space in the airport.

Outside the experience zone, an interactive touchscreen displays the Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone.

There is also a Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro display, which uses “lift-and-learn technology” to enable passengers to try the device and measure their blood oxygen reading, which is displayed on a digital screen.

The digital screen delivers personalised information based on each passenger taking part.

Passengers will have access to a Galaxy Buds soundscape where hyper directional audio from above makes a series of auditory chambers within the space, allowing passengers to switch between ambient sound and noise cancelling capabilities of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro as well as displaying Buds2 and Buds Live.
