SPAR partners VisionR for shopper analytics

SPAR has signed an international agreement with VisionR to roll out its shopper analytics technology.

Internationally, SPAR said it has been focused on utilising shopper insights to open up new opportunities in-store and improve the shopping experience for customers.

VisionR provides insights from the shop floor by aggregating previously inaccessible data and will help SPAR to personalise the shopping experience and drive sales, the company said.

Oran Mulvey, co-founder of VisionR, said: “Through our partnership with SPAR International, we are able to support SPAR organisations across 48 countries by providing revenue generating data.”

VisionR recently completed a €1.5m investment round, led by Delta Partners, backed by Bank of Ireland, to provide insights to any retailer with physical premises, from grocery to convenience to fashion.

With 13,600 stores around the world, Spar International recently announced 3.3 per cent growth as global sales reached €41.2 billion.
