Vinted expands distribution deal with Yodel

Online marketplace Vinted has announced an expanded partnership with independent carrier firm Yodel.

The new multi-year agreement includes “a significant increase in parcel volumes” to be handled by Yodel and delivered to its 6,000 serviced stores across the UK.

Vinted users can select either of Yodel’s Store to Store or Store to Door services, giving sellers the option to drop off their parcel at their nearest store for their recipient to collect at theirs, or to deliver directly to their recipient’s address.

Vytautas Atkocatis, vice president at Vinted Go, said: “We have seen huge growth in our marketplace in recent years as consumers become more environmentally conscious and are increasingly looking for additional sources of income.

“Our partnership with Yodel has already seen millions of pre-loved items delivered to their new homes and as we grow into 2024, we want to ensure we continue to provide the best possible selling and shopping experience for customers.”

Mike Hancox, chief exec at Yodel, added: “We are thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Vinted to help its vast fashion community across the UK deliver and collect their pre-loved clothing.”
