Accenture expands retail tech arm with the acquisition of Logic

Global professional services company Accenture has acquired retail technology services firm Logic.

Headquartered in Minnesota, US, Logic’s technology aims to help retailers drive customer loyalty, boost revenue, and increase agility.

The firm currently operates in 11 countries and serves more than 150 retail clients on a global scale with a range of capabilities including merchandising, stores, digital, analytics and cloud.

As part of the deal, Accenture is integrating Logic’s 800-strong team.
The agreement aims to expand Accenture's retail capabilities with the addition of skills in core technologies and platforms, including AI and generative AI.

Accenture Retail industry practice global lead Jill Standish said: “Business disruption is intensifying and requires retailers to embrace a strategy of continuous reinvention to deliver value across every part of the business with digital technology at the core.

"The addition of Logic’s expertise and industry-specific skills will further enhance our ability to deliver comprehensive retail solutions and drive transformative outcomes for our clients to thrive in this dynamic marketplace.”
