John Lewis hires new head of customer planning

John Lewis has hired Andreas Nicolaides as its new head of customer planning & channels.

Nicolaides, who will join the company in October, was most recently general manager for digital clothing and footwear retailer N Brown.

He also previously worked for Moneysupermarket across a five year period during which he focussed on SEO and paid search across all channels.

The new head of customer planning has also had agency experience working with Boohoo, Halfords Thomas Cook, and the Fragrance Shop.

At John Lewis, he will be responsible for modernising the retailer's marketing across stores and online with the aim of "deepening relationships with its customers".

“Andreas brings a wealth of experience as a data driven media and marketing specialist across a very wide portfolio of successful brands,” said Charlotte Lock, John Lewis Partnership’s customer director. “John Lewis already has huge loyalty from our customers and we are delighted that Andreas will be driving forward our marketing planning to deepen this relationship even further.”
