John Lewis offers online credit up to £35,000

John Lewis has launched a new interest free credit offering for its online customers.

Customers can sign up for at least £1,000 of credit with a maximum of £25,000 over a year, with credit for fitted rooms amounting up to £35,000, according to a report by This is Money.

The department store has launched the new payment service in collaboration with French bank BNP Paribas.

“We’ve recently launched a new interest free credit offer with BNP Paribas,” said John Lewis in a statement. “For the first time ever, customers can apply for interest free credit online and through our contact centres, as well as in our John Lewis Shops.”

The retailer added: “As part of the offer, they will have access to credit for even more products and greater visibility of their account online.”
