Millesima strengthens carrier network with new delivery management platform

Fine wine merchant Millesima has rolled out a new delivery management and experience platform in a bid to strengthen its carrier network across Europe this year.

The business has collaborated with nShift on the rollout, having formed a partnership with the company in late 2024 to improve its logistics operations, expand its carrier network, and "significantly improve" the delivery experience for its customers.

As part of the partnership, the wine merchant has implemented an enterprise-shipping software platform to support its European expansion, with the company gaining access to more than 1,000 carriers across 190 countries.

The company has also deployed a post-purchase experience management tool to provide customers with branded, real-time tracking updates on their orders.

“Our customers count on us to deliver their orders – which can be high valued - in premium condition, regarding delay and service," said François D'Hautefeuille, head of finance, Millesima. "We needed a solution with the carrier connections and customer experience capabilities to help us successfully engage new customers in new markets."

He went on to say that the new technology will provide a "driving force" for the company's growth.
