Aldi is the most popular supermarket in the UK, according to a study from YouGov.
YouGov Ratings measures British supermarket popularity and fame every quarter. The latest data is based on 1282 nationally representative interviews of the British population, collected during the first quarter of the year 2022.
Coming in second was M&S Food, closely followed by Lidl in third place.
Tesco Express was named fourth most popular supermarket, while Iceland was fifth.
Morrisons took sixth place, Tesco in seventh, ASDA in eighth, and Sainsbury’s found itself the least popular of the Big Four UK supermarkets in ninth place.
