Food delivery platform Just Eat has announced the appointment of Claire Pointon as its new managing director for the UK and Ireland.
Pointon's last role was at John Lewis, where she served as customer director and led the customer function both digitally and in store. She joins with more than 20 years of commercial experience, and previously held roles at Dixons Carphone and Deutsche Telekom.
Just Eat, the UK’s leading food delivery company with over 76,000 restaurant, grocery and convenience partners, said that the company will be strengthened by “Pointon’s wealth of experience across the retail and technology sectors”.
The newly-appointed managing director takes over from Andrew Kenny, who joined Just Eat’s management board as chief commercial officer last year.
