Revolution Beauty revamps e-commerce platform

Revolution Beauty has launched a new website for its cosmetics, haircare, and skincare products.

The company, established seven years ago, decided to boost its e-commerce offering to enhance online customer experience.

The retailer’s previous site was custom-made and outsourced, which created difficulties when the company wanted to launch a new brand or increase the cadence of product drops, consequently failing to meet accelerated consumer demand.

Revolution Beauty’s key systems have been integrated using APIs, which means it can now easily establish a single view of the customer across its regional e-commerce sites in the UK, US, and further afield.

The API-led solution helps create better and more connected experiences with customers, including improved efficiency in order fulfilment and refunding.

“At Revolution Beauty, our work starts and stops with delivering amazing experiences for our customers,” said Steve Griffiths, head of digital development, Revolution Beauty. “Astound Commerce helped us understand the integration challenges we were facing and put MuleSoft and its API-led approach at the heart of our strategy to help us create connected experiences, faster. Since our new site went live, we have seen immediate results, thanks to Astound’s insight and consultancy.”
