Sephora to debut in UK with ‘dazzling’ Westfield London store

US-based luxury cosmetic retailer Sephora has announced plans to open its first UK retail store in Westfield London.

The 6,000 square foot store is set to open in March 2023 in the White City shopping centre. The company has promised “an exceptional assortment of products and personal services in a dazzling space that will feature inspiring innovations drawn from the global retailer’s unique network.”

The store will offer exclusive brands including Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr, Vegamour, Skinfix, Commodity and Sephora’s own SEPHORA COLLECTION.

The launch of a physical retail location comes several months after Sephora launched its UK website and app in autumn 2022.

Commenting on the launch, Sylvie Moreau president Europe, Middle East at Sephora, said: “Sephora has transformed the beauty experience of customers all over the world and we are delighted to bring our inspirational in-store environment to London, which has some of the most demanding beauty fans in the world.

“We know that London’s youthful and inventive vibe is one of the best places on in the world for us to introduce some of the innovations that will make the Sephora experience even more extraordinary in the future.”

Katie Wyle, general manager at Westfield London, said: “Sephora is one of the most requested stores by Westfield London customers and I am delighted they have chosen our destination to open their first physical store in the UK.

“The launch of their store marks the growth of our beauty offer and will be a landmark moment for beauty fans where they can discover Sephora’s compelling brand mix combined with a high energy, digitally enhanced in-store experience.”

Sephora is the latest US beauty retailer to open a physical location in the UK, coming several months after Bath and Body Works opened a store in Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre.
