The 8,923-square-foot store, which has two levels, is located at 179 Regent Street with Lululemon replacing the previous occupant Michael Kors.
The move comes 11 years after the opening of the clothing retailer's first London location. Since then, it has opened ten more stores in London and a total of 51 in the EMEA region.
Last week the retailer closed the door on its previous flagship store located at 187 Regent Street, while the new store doubled in size.
The brand, whose offering includes leggings, trousers, sports bras, tops, hoodies, jackets, and accessories designed for yoga, running, and other activities, was founded in 1997 in Vancouver, Canada with the first store opening in 2000.
Since then, it has grown into a global brand with the company now operating more than 700 stores worldwide, with 370 stores in the US alone. Other countries where it operates include China, Canada and Australia.
In January, the sportswear and leisurewear retailer announced that it expected net sales of $3.56 billion to $3.58 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, representing 11-12 per cent growth over the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023, or six per cent to seven per cent growth.
Meghan Frank, chief financial officer, commented in a statement at the time: “During the holiday season, our guests responded well to our product offering, enabling us to increase our fourth quarter guidance.”
